Podcast: Registrar Interview

Student success is at the core of California Community College real estate classes. We support the principles of the Vision for Success, to support improved outcomes for community college students.

In this CCCREEC podcast, we have a conversation with Saddleback College real estate faculty Martin Welc and Brock Schermerhorn, and Jim Feigert, Registrar at Saddleback College.

The conversation includes discussion of common issues relating to course, transcript, and grade issues that faculty should know about, including student registration concerns, student name changes, grade grievances, document preservation, pass/no-pass course format, FERPA, and record-keeping best practices.

Outcomes: From listening to this podcast, instructors will gain some insights on the issues impacting education records, transcript and registrar concerns, and best practices for records.

You’ll want to listen if you are a full-time or part-time professor in real estate, or you are a real estate professional wanting more insight on becoming a faculty.
