Podcast: Real Estate Book Loan Program

Student success is at the core of California Community College real estate classes. We support the principles of the Vision for Success, to support more students reaching their real estate and appraisal career goals through the California community colleges.

In this CCCREEC podcast, you’ll discover a conversation with Saddleback College real estate faculty Martin Welc and Brock Schermerhorn, and special guest Mira Manchick, Senior Administrative Assistant at Saddleback College.

The conversation includes a description of the Book Loan program at Saddleback College, and how it impacts real estate career education students. In addition to the Foundation for California Community Colleges real estate student scholarship fund, the book loan program helps increase financial support for real estate students. We hope you can use funding for a similar program at your college.

Outcomes: From listening to this podcast, instructors will gain some insights into creative solutions for supporting real estate students with a campus-run textbook loan program.

You’ll want to listen if you are a full-time or part-time professor in real estate, program administrator, or you are a real estate professional wanting more insight on becoming a faculty.
