What to expect

The CCCREEC conference aims to provide support for California Community Colleges real estate and appraisal faculty in three areas: real estate regulation and licensing, real estate industry and professional practice, and pedagogy and student success. You can expect to participate in presentations on each of these topics throughout the day.

We aim to meet the needs of full-time and part-time faculty and bring together groups of people to learn together for engaging, one-day conferences focused on real estate education. Our conferences also include valuable information for real estate professionals and those interested in teaching at the California Community Colleges. Together, we represent a vibrant coalition of real estate professionals, instructors, administrators, employers, students, and entrepreneurs coming together to increase the professionalism and practice of real estate.

Your feedback has a direct impact on the shape and structure of our conferences, so please share your ideas with us in our post-event email survey and via our contact form.

Pre-Conference Faculty Meet Up

Join your California community college real estate faculty colleagues on Thursday, April 25th, from 5:30pm-7:00pm for a no-host reception and networking time the night before the conference in the lounge at Rusty Pelican, Newport Beach.

Valet parking is available for $6, but we encourage you to use a taxi or ride-share transportation service if you will be consuming alcohol.

Please ask for the upstairs lounge area. A limited menu is available in the lounge, so if you plan to stay for dinner, please make your own reservations.

Previous conference surveys indicated that real estate faculty want more time to connect and work together on advancing real estate education in casual settings, so we hope this additional pre-conference event will help facilitate relationship-building and positive conversations about successful real estate education!
